Jesus taught that we must worship the Father "in spirit and in truth" (John 4:23-24). At Lindsley Avenue, we have purposed to let the New Testament govern what we do and how we worship. Some of the activities you will find us doing in our services include:

  • Praising God in Song (Eph. 5:19-20)
  • Praying (1 Cor. 14:15-16)
  • Preaching & Teaching (Acts 20:7; 5:42)
  • Encouraging one another (Heb. 10:25)
  • Observing Communion (Acts 20:7 & 1 Cor. 11:23-26)
  • Giving as we have been prospered (1 Cor. 16:1-3)

Please come and be our Guest!

Over the years many individuals have volunteered their time, energy and financial resources to the work of the Lord's church in Nashville. The Christians who continue to assemble at Lindsley Avenue are likewise dedicated to ministering to the spiritual needs of the community around us. We want to remain a beacon of REAL HOPE, for REAL PEOPLE, in the REAL WORLD.
Volunteer opportunities are available for those who would like to help do the Lord's work in downtown Nashville. The gift of your prayers, personal time or financial resources would be put to good use as we continue to serve our community. Please contact us for more information on how you can join with us in the very important work of seeking and saving the Lost (Luke 19:10).
